Milliman Study
―
CAPP engaged Milliman USA to analyze the effect of a $250,000
cap on medical malpractice losses and loss adjustment expenses for
physicians in Pennsylvania. The results of the study completed in
July 2003 show a 12% savings at the primary level and a 42% savings
at the MCARE level. This translates to an 18% overall savings.
